Shift: Full time
Columbia Club, a private city club established in 1889, on Monument Circle, offers an opportunity for those seeking to join our dedicated team. With 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities, en-suite guest rooms, and multiple dining rooms, Columbia Club provides a unique and distinguished experience. Complemented by member services and a Health & Wellness Center, the Club embodies excellence in every aspect of city club life.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing membership marketing plans, public relations programs, and strategies.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining an atmosphere that will distinguish the Club in a positive manner when compared to other area clubs.
- Maintaining an active CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software database.
- Organizing and hosting prospective member site visits and events at the Club.
- Engaging in member strategy planning, including communicating with existing members for referrals, and developing relationships with realtors, and other DC businesses.
- Understanding and following the bylaws, rules, membership process, and fee structure.
- Assisting applicants for membership through the application process and requirements.
- Developing new member events and membership retention plans.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Attending major Club functions.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales ability. Previous experience in club membership sales is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and member service skills.
- Well-spoken and professional, with a warm inviting presence.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Competent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar software. Experience with Club Essential software is a plus.
- Ability to work 100% on-site (non-remote).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a private club or hospitality business preferred.

Overtime and Job Requirements:
· Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule
· Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
