Shift: Full time

Columbia Club, a private city club established in 1889, on Monument Circle, offers an opportunity for those seeking to join our dedicated team. With 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities, en-suite guest rooms, and multiple dining rooms, Columbia Club provides a unique and distinguished experience. Complemented by member services and a Health & Wellness Center, the Club embodies excellence in every aspect of city club life.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing membership marketing plans, public relations programs, and strategies.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining an atmosphere that will distinguish the Club in a positive manner when compared to other area clubs.
  • Maintaining an active CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software database.
  • Organizing and hosting prospective member site visits and events at the Club.
  • Engaging in member strategy planning, including communicating with existing members for referrals, and developing relationships with realtors, and other DC businesses.
  • Understanding and following the bylaws, rules, membership process, and fee structure.
  • Assisting applicants for membership through the application process and requirements.
  • Developing new member events and membership retention plans.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Attending major Club functions.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Proven sales ability. Previous experience in club membership sales is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and member service skills.
  • Well-spoken and professional, with a warm inviting presence.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Competent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar software. Experience with Club Essential software is a plus.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site (non-remote).

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a private club or hospitality business preferred.

Overtime and Job Requirements:

· Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule

· Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
