Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized fitness programs based on clients’ goals, abilities, and limitations.
  • Conduct fitness assessments and provide accurate measurements of clients' current physical condition.
  • Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and ensure safety during workouts.
  • Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Offer guidance on nutrition, lifestyle, and healthy habits to maximize results.
  • Educate clients on the importance of proper form, breathing techniques, and injury prevention.
  • Monitor client progress and adapt workout plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment, ensuring that fitness equipment is safe and in good working order.
  • Keep up to date with the latest fitness trends, research, and certification requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Conduct group fitness classes and assist with marketing activities to attract new clients.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust training techniques to optimize client satisfaction and results.
Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Personal Trainer, preferably in a fitness or wellness center.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, (College Degree Preferred) with at least 1 National Certification from a reputable organization, CPR Certification, minimum 3 years experience in a club or fitness facility.
  • Be able to set health and fitness goals and monitor the client’s progress with accurate record keeping.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science principles.
  • Ability to create tailored fitness plans for individuals with different needs and goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and support clients.
  • Understanding of nutrition principles and ability to provide basic guidance.
  • Professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to demonstrate and supervise various exercises and workout routines.
  • Physical stamina to stand, sit, and move for extended periods.
  • Lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, stretch, and reach during training sessions.
