Job Responsibilities:
Staff Management & Scheduling
- Hires, trains, supervises, schedules, and evaluates restaurant staff.
- Conducts pre-shift meetings to relay information, policy changes, and updates to personnel.
- Provides reports on employee hours, schedules, pay rates, job changes, and tip pools, etc.
Operations & Service Standards
- Plans restaurant setup based on anticipated member and guest counts.
- Supervises restaurant staff to ensure proper service, assisting with orders when necessary.
- Confirms that side-work and cleaning of all restaurants and storage areas are completed.
- Designs floor plans in accordance with reservations when needed.
- Monitors and maintains inventory of restaurant essentials, ensuring proper storage and accountability.
- Oversees and accurately updates Wine Society.
Guest Experience & Issue Resolution
- Checks table reservations and maintains the reservation system.
- Serves as the liaison between the restaurants and kitchen staff.
- Receives and resolves member/guest complaints regarding food, beverages, and service.
- Develops and implements marketing programs to increase restaurant business.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Manages restaurant budget, monitoring labor and supply costs to meet financial goals.
- Supervises revenue control systems.
- Produces daily or meal-period revenue reports from the point-of-sale system.
- Oversees the restaurant budget.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Development
- Makes recommendations for improving dining room service procedures and layout.
- Develops and updates policy and procedure manuals to enhance quality and cost control.
- Implements ongoing initiatives to increase repeat business and revenue growth.
Job Knowledge:

Licenses and Special Requirements:
- Food safety certification
